45% Spatburgunder, 37% Chardonnay, 18% Weissburgunder. Dennis made this wine after his first full year back in Germany – it’s mainly a product of the 2018 vintage with around 25% reserve wine coming from older vintages. The Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay come from Grand Cru sites around the winery in Grosskarlbach. The wine spends 3 years ‘sur lattes’ before disgorgement
Tasting notes
This is a big bready Sekt with lots of toasty brioche notes – just when you think it might be a little too much the saline finish refreshes the palate and you’re ready to go again. Just 2000 bottles produced
