Port Charlotte MRC:01 2010

A youthful heavily peated Port Charlotte, distilled at Bruichladdich distillery from Scottish barley and matured in first-fill ex-American whisky casks and second-fill French wine casks before a final year of marrying in French oak. It's all about the influence of the wood, and the casks have added sweet citrus and dark chocolate notes to the rich and peaty spirit.
